I just wish to add a comment on my recent massage with Rene. From the outset Rene was very helpful in giving me the massage later in the day due to the extreme heat in Amsterdam. The luxury apartment is on the Keizergract.. Canal of the Kings. What a location!! The apt is modern, bright, full of light and space and minimalist. Rene was very relaxed himself and helped me get into that space as well. He gives a truly wonderful professional massage. I left Rene after 90 mins and felt rejuvenated, with a promise to return the next time I am in Amsterdam. With my thanks and love. P

Vandaag een goede ontspannende massage gekregen bij Rene. Gespannen lijf door omstandigheden in mijn leven heeft hij weer helemaal ontspannen gekregen. Verder mooie en goed bereikbare locatie en Rene is een goede en zeer sympathieke man.

As previously mentioned...René's technique is really good. An excellent mix of swedish and deep tissue ... With good 'dwelling' time on the problem areas/soreness. Overall a Very relaxing massage and a very professional approach. Plus The location can't get any better. Hope to return soon. Thanks.

I would recommend the 90 minute session.

Truly a nice and good massage and masseur. Nice warm hands, good location, clean studio and massage table. Enough to talk about with Rene if you want and nothing tacky. So if you want a nice relaxation massage: book him!

Rene gives a relaxing massage. He brings variation in pressure, speed and techniques. He is a relaxed guy who easily makes you feel comfortable.

Wonderful massage by a great person that makes you feel at ease right from the start. It's a great venue, nice shower facilities, and a real professional relaxing massage. I highly recommend him.

"Smooth, serene and soothing" is exactly how this massage can be descibed. Rene has a wonderful ability to create a relaxing atmosphere allowing you to relax and drift off into a calm place. His apartment windows are ideally located so that you can even feel the sun on you in the late afternoon.

Vanmiddag voor de eerste keer van een fantastische massage genoten bij René. Voelde me meteen op m'n gemak en de beschreven stijl van zijn massage klopte absoluut. Ontspannend, af en toe stevig en dan weer zacht. Ik ben blij nu vlakbij iemand gevonden te hebben waar ik vaak naar toe kan. I'll be back very soon!!

I have had a few massage appointments with Rene and they were all very good. He is a very cute, intellectual and charming guy and his hands give the right energy when he touches. His studio is in a prime location in Amsterdam. Clean towels, a good massage table and a relaxing music complete all the conditions of the right atmosphere for a great relaxing massage. I strongly advise the massage of this gentleman.

Here is my comment on my recent massage with Rene. There had been a misunderstanding at first about the scheduled time, but Rene did everything to recoreect this and I must say in a very professional way. A comfortable location with a great embiance! Rene is a very relaxed person. He gives a truly wonderful relaxing and professional massage. I left Rene after 90 mins and felt rejuvenated and slept so well that night, finally after a period of lack of sleep. I will certainly go back for more massages.

Every country I travel to I always search for a good massage therapist and I have been SO lucky to find Rene here in Amsterdam! Such a pleasant experience and he is a FANTASTIC therapist. I had been flying for almost 14 hrs and my entire body was sore, with Rene's massage technique, I got off the table after an hour massage and felt so rejuvenated and relaxed...I will certainly try to see him again before I leave, if not, when I return to Amsterdam again, I will most certainly look him up....Dez - Vancouver, BC, Canada

I have booked two massage sessions with Rene and I plan to book more sessions in the future. The cleanliness and space of the massage room has a soothing effect which is a good starting point for a session.

Any good massage therapist should be conscious of the energy a client brings into a session and try to work with that energy within the limits of their personal and professional standards.

Rene makes you feel at ease with his personality from the start. He is very respectful of the human body and his unique technique of using his handpalms (hot) and underarms (cold) creates a flow of energy that causes a deep state of hypnotic relaxation. Before Rene I have never had a massage where it felt as if my body and mind separated. Having my physical body loose tension while my mind embarks on a spiritual journey is one of the best massage experiences ever and I have walked away feeling more in tune with myself.

Highly recommended!

Just today I have met Rene, Nice guy and made me more comfortable in his places. The massage to too good with his warm hands and smooth touches.

It was great experience with him and like to visit next time again,felt so rejuvenated and relaxed. Perfect Location near to canal and nice bright room.

I should recommend everyone who like to take a nice massage.

After a long meeting, I had a few hours left before my flight home. Luckily, Rene could fit me in at short notice and was very flexible with his times. His practice is conveniently located near the central station.

Rene is a wonderful guy with excellent massage skills. After just a few minutes I was completely relaxed due to his signature massage technique. I can highly recommend him and I will definitely be back next time I am in Amsterdam.

Extremely good and professional massage! Very comfortable place, ultra pleasant Rene's personality, sun warming up my body on the table, really, really good music in the background, but the technique of the massage was absolutely outstanding. Rene knows how to make your body relaxed. I can surely recommend!

René is een begenadigd masseur: hij voelt nog sneller dan jijzelf welke plekken intensiever aandacht verdienen. Die aandacht geeft hij vervolgens effectief en relaxed. Heerlijk om in die rustige atmosfeer van bijna hypnotiserende grepen telkens bijna in slaap te vallen.... Bedankt en tot gauw, René!

Rene is a very friendly, welcoming and professional masseur. The location is superb (overlooks a beautiful canal) and when you enter you feel relaxed immediately.
Rene's technique is soothing and sensual, bringing you to a state of deep relaxation.
A good masseur and a very nice guy. Highly recommended !

Rene was great. He was Very professional and he is set up in a great location. I was exhausted from a long overseas flight and he helped alleviate stress. His location is super central and easy to get to on foot or bike and it is warm and inviting and very clean. He is warm and friendly, but not overly chatty (which I appreciated). I really enjoyed my massage. A lot of people do not know how to give a good firm massage and you end up getting a back rub for 60 minutes. Rene was firm and hit all the tense spots/knots. I will go again the next time I am in Amsterdam. Thanks Rene!

I had a massage by Rene and found it to be excellent. I was fortunate to be able to make an appointment on short notice. On entering his space, Rene immediately makes you feel comfortable and at ease. He has a "signature" or "trademark" massage that leaves you feeling incredibly relaxed. I will definitely return, and next time I will book a 90 minute massage instead of 60 minutes.

Massage is very important for our health and we often forget how much. Not only for our body, but also for our mind. It was quite some time I did not get a massage myself due to a few available slots in my calendar and last week finally I went to René. It was a very good experience: soothing hands and massage rhythm, which helped me forget hammering thoughts and finally relax the body, too! The location is also very nice and easy to reach! You should definitely consider a massage by René! :-)

Alhoewel ik niet zo’n schrijver ben, vindt ik dat het bezoek dat ik onlangs aan Imperial massage bracht een review verdient.

Zowel de ruimte van Imperial massage als de masseur René zelf brengen meteen een gevoel van rust over en dragen bij aan de belevenis van de ontspanningsmassage, hetgeen uiteindelijk is waarvoor je komt.
.
De lange vloeiende bewegingen met de onderarm en de geur van de massage olie (volgens mij met een hint van kokos) zorgen voor de ultieme relax status die me de rest van de dag is bijgebleven.
.
Aangenaam, ontspannend en iets om weer naar uit te kijken.

A great massage, for the body and for the heart. René is professional and very kind, he will put you at ease with his beautiful smile and his warm, gentle, and firm hands. I had a 90mins massage, which is what I would recommend to everyone - locals and travellers. Too bad I'm leaving in 2 days, but I'm surely coming back for another round when I come back!

Het was een fantastische ervaring om met jouw geoefende handen een massage te ondergaan! Al mijn spieren zijn goed onderhanden genomen en allemaal uiterst professioneel. De trappen, om mijn trein te kunnen halen, nam ik fluitend. En na afloop van een heerlijke douche genoten. Alles uiterst hygiënisch!
Ook weet René zelf veel te vertellen en gaat goed in op mijn verhalen.
Want praten deden we en de 90 minuten waren eigenlijk veel te snel om. Beste René, je hebt je uiterste best gedaan en ik kom gauw terug op deze schitterende locatie! Veel succes! Jan

Premetto che non è un centro estetico ma la casa privata, con vista sul canale, di René, proprietario e massaggiatore di professione, che sfortunatamente non parla italiano ma che riesce, da subito, a trasmetterti serenità e fiducia, nonché puro relax prodotto da mani grandi ed esperte. Il massaggio dura all'incirca 50 minuti ed ha un costo di € 65.00 pagabili anche con bancomat o carta di credito. Ambiente curato, pulito e ordinato, lettino professionale con buco, utilizzo di olio che a fine massaggio René ti asciuga accuratamente con un panno morbido. Da consigliare vivamente.

Was echt een hele fijne ervaring. Uiterst professioneel en wetende wat hij doet. Alle spieren zijn super onder handen genomen en daarnaast en Rene een uiterst sociaal, gezellig persoon!
Ik kan dit iedereen ten zeerste aanraden.

I was in the middle of a 10-day vacation and needed a little relaxation and pampering. Rene was able to get me booked with a very short notice.

The massage was exactly what I needed! Rene was extremely skilled, and I left feeling relaxed and re-energized. He was a great conversationalist which enhanced the experience. His facilities were very nice and played a nice role in the experience.

When I return to Amsterdam, I would book another visit with Imperial Massage and would highly recommend anyone else to book a session as well.

Five stars!
